India Gets First Look at 2026 Kawasaki KLE500 Adventure Bike
Kawasaki is set to revive the iconic KLE500 nameplate for 2026, with plans to launch the rugged adventure bike in India next year. Built on a lightweight trellis chassis, it features a parallel-twin, water-cooled engine equipped with an assist-and-slipper clutch, blending off-road styling with modern tech.
The KLE500 boasts motocross-inspired design elements like a tall, adjustable windshield, a compact 16-litre fuel tank, and high-visibility LED lighting front and rear. Enhanced rider comfort is ensured by ERGO-FIT low front and pillion seats with customizable height settings, ergonomically positioned footpegs, and handlebars suited for both seated and standing rides.
Suspension duties include a KYB cartridge-type inverted front fork and Uni-Trak rear system, promising exceptional feedback and stability across terrains. The bike rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels with IRC GP-410 tires, while disc brakes with selectable ABS elevate safety.

The premium SE variant features a TFT instrument cluster, larger windshield, hand guards, and integrates Kawasaki’s Rideology app for voice-controlled navigation and trip logging. Optional genuine accessories, including top cases, panniers, engine guards, USB Type-C outlets, and an upswept Akrapovic exhaust, offer further customization.
Available in Metallic Carbon Gray, Pearl Blizzard White, and Pearl Storm Gray, the KLE500 will be priced competitively beneath the Versys 650, marking Kawasaki’s exciting re-entry into the Indian adventure motorcycle scene.
