India’s midsize electric SUV market is set for a major shakeup as leading manufacturers like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, and Mahindra gear up to launch exciting new models in the next six months. 1. Tata Sierra EV
Tata Motors is reviving the iconic Sierra name with a modern electric version debuting next month. Positioned between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV, the Sierra EV will offer two battery options with a claimed range above 500 km. Features include bi-directional charging and fast DC charging support. Petrol and diesel versions of Sierra will follow in early 2026.
2. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
